Director - Gatta Cenerentola

After winning the Gran Premio della Giuria of the Festival Castelli Animati, the Cylect International Price and the first prize of the Festival of Film School in Mexico City with his essays, Again and Looking Death Window, he graduated from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematogra a of Rome in Animation. From 2011 to 2011 he presented art exhibitions at the Not Gallery, published comics and illustrated books distributed in Italy and the US such as Ark (Grifo edizioni), Bye Bye Jazz (Lavieri), A Skeleton Story (GG Studio).

2014: ‘Cartoons on the Bay’ opening theme
2015: ‘30’ theme. Settimana Internazionale della Critica della Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematogra ca di Venezia.
2016: illustrations for Roberto Saviano’s La Paranza dei Bambini; animated illustrations for Foja’s show, Cagnasse Tutto, directed by Franco Dragone.
In 2014 he directed his first feature film, L’Arte della Felicità. Produced by Mad Entertainment in collaboration with Rai Cinema and distributed by Istituto Luce – Cinecittà, the movie opened as Special Event the Settimana della Critica of the 70th Mostra Internazionale d’Arte Cinematografica di Venezia, winning the Arca Cinema Giovani prize and the FEDIC Menzione Speciale as Miglior Film Italiano a Venezia, the Migliore Opera Prima prize at the 2013 Raindance Film Festival in London, the Anime 2014 – International Animation Film Festival of Bruxelles Premio del Pubblico, the Ciak d’Oro 2014 Bello & Invisibile, the 2014 Expotoons Premio come Miglior Film in Buenos Aires, the 12th Kecskemét Animation Film Festival Premio della Giuria degli Studenti
and the prestigious recognition as Best European Animated Film at the 2014 European Film Awards.
