Between 1945 and 1948, Selvino, a small town in Lombardy, became the home of hundreds of children who had escaped the horrors of World War II. The “children of Selvino,” rescued by Solel Boneh, the brigade of Jewish engineers of the British army, slowly learned how to carry on with their lives.
