This documentary celebrates the life of the legendary composer Ennio Morricone, who died in 2020. He created more than 500 soundtracks, and in 2007 was awarded the Oscar for Lifetime Achievement.

Through a variety of interviews with many directors, screenwriters, musicians, songwriters, critics and others who have worked with the maestro, we gain an understanding of what made his long career so special.

The film features recordings of some of his concert tours, scenes on set, and exclusive footage of places around the world that defined his life.
