Ballo in Maschera – Carnival Fundraiser on February 8, 2024

Time to party like it’s 1799!

Nuovo Cinema Italiano Film Festival invites you to a masked ball at the College of Charleston’s stunning Randolph Hall, which dates to the era of Mozart and Haydn.

The event, a fundraiser for the festival, is set for 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Feb 8 and coincides with Carnival, the Shrovetide period of the Christian liturgical calendar when sins are easily forgiven.

Come costumed, masked, and ready to dance! Come to enjoy the company of Italophiles and the flavors of the pre-Lenten season when just about anything goes.

Ballo in Maschera will feature live music by a string quartet, tasty treats, plenty of wine and court dancing, so powder your face and don that wig, pull up those tights and tighten those corsets.

Tickets are $150 each and available to purchase HERE.
